The third day of our road trip at the end of august was pretty uneventful lake wise. We only went to a single one – the Eibsee in Bavaria – and the rest of the day we spent at the Area 47 in Tyrol, but that’s a whole other topic. So, if you want to see some impressions from our walk around the Eibsee, keep reading.

Route

The path that goes around the Eibsee is 7,5km long and gives you a ton of spots to take in the beautiful lake with the mountains in the background. There are also two other tiny lakes along the way and on the northern side you’ll find a couple of small islands (which were actually the reason we wanted to see the lake).

It took us a bit over two hours to go around the lake, but I have to say, we walked pretty slow.

This part of road trippin‘ is a pretty short one, just because I once more realised that I’m actually not as good at planing as I always think. I forgot that we went to that lake and had to squeeze it in before the next two (and last) parts of this road trip come out (two very exciting ones btw).

So, I hope you enjoyed this little trip and in the meantime you can check out the last two parts of road trippin’ here and here.

Love, Jacky N.
